To grow the German market further, we are looking now for a New Business Development Manager

 

Successful candidates will reflect ambition, drive and gained proven success in a new business environment.

We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy proactively prospecting new business opportunities and can close deals across our full range of products/services.

 

A Business Development Manager will be experienced in the full lifecycle consultative sales; from initial prospecting, through to proposal writing, delivering client presentations and closing the deal. He/she will consult with clients to understand their PR and Communications objectives and be able to demonstrate how our client is best place to address their needs and goals.

 

In addition, our most successful individuals will look to key cultural trends and major news events to understand how relate to their prospects and our ability to address their challenges.

 

Experience required:

  • Ideally over 3 years proven track record in delivering new business revenue.
  • Passionate, self motivated, tenacious and financially driven.
  • Ability to assess opportunities at a strategic level rather than a tactical level.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the sales cycle and ability to create a pipeline ofprofitable business.
  • Strong negotiator; ability to think on their feet.
  • High level of interpersonal skills; always looking to collaborate.
  • Understanding of PR & Communications is preferable.

Core responsibilities:

  • To consistently meet and exceed Quarterly sales targets by building and maintaining a full pipeline of new business opportunities from a specified industry vertical.
  • Build a good quality, strategic sales plan that supports sales activity and engagement throughout the year.
  • Identify key cultural themes/trends and understand how they relate to prospective clients and services. Work with internal resource to create a content plan that supports outreach around these themes.
  • To develop and maintain senior level relationships with prospective clients in allocated sectors through regular attendance at industry events and sponsored corporate entertainment.
  • To independently research and formulate a plan of approach for major prospects utilising key resources supplied.
