Business Development Representative

Our client runs a Next Generation Project & Portfolio Management platform and looks now for a successful candidates who will reflect ambition, drive and gained proven success in a new business environment!


Your tasks

  • You take responsibility for the acquisition of new customers for a complex enterprise software (solution sales) and support the entire sales cycle from pre-qualification to closing.
  • You are a fundamental part of the growth strategy and actively influence our success by initiating and exploiting new contacts.
  • You will approach new customers and generate leads via telephone or social networks.
  • When actively approaching new potential customers, you are the first touchpoint to software and generate enthusiasm for our product.
  • You network internal and external stakeholders along the sales cycle and provide the most important information.
  • You will work closely with PreSales, Enterprise Sales and Marketing.
  • We promote your personal development by giving you responsibility for sales campaigns and allowing you to participate in the development of content and strategy.
  • New ideas will always find an open ear here.

What is expected

  • You have successfully completed your studies and are looking for an exciting job in software sales (solution sales/SaaS)
  • You have gained initial experience in a sales or customer-related role, ideally in the B2B sector.
  • Prior knowledge of software is not a prerequisite.
  • You manage to arouse the interest and enthusiasm of potential customers with your positive, open-minded manner.
  • You also have the necessary instinct to sense and respond to the needs of your counterparts.
  • You have drive, like to work independently and find it easy to present complex issues in an understandable way.
  • Your ability to grasp things quickly and your entrepreneurial way of thinking make you a competent contact person for potential customers.
  • You are a communication talent – both in German and English.
